The 26th volume of the series of books “The Countries and Peoples of the Near and Middle East” consists of five parts which include questions and publications of ancient and middle age history, modern and contemporary history, as well as culture and philology of the countries of the Near and Middle East. A considerable importance is given to the coverage of internal political developments, international relations and other problems of the region.
It is intended for Orientalists, internationalists, historians, people dealing with problems of philology and culture, as well as students.
